Coffee Table Styling
Coffee tables are not only functional pieces of furniture, but they can also serve as a design element in a living room or family room. This is one of my FAVORITE designer dupe pieces. The zeke collection from World Market has modern elements, white oak finish, and is the perfect size for any space! BONUS- do you have littles? There are no sharp corners for the busy little ones to bump in to! Styling your coffee table can be an easy way to add personality and visual interest to your space. Here are a few tips to help you style your coffee table:
Choose a focal point: Start by selecting a focal point for your coffee table. This could be a decorative tray, a vase of flowers, a sculpture, or a stack of coffee table books. Your focal point should be something that draws the eye and sets the tone for the rest of your styling. Pick something fun! We stacked some books and chose a vase to set the stage!
Add layers: Once you have your focal point, add layers to create depth and interest. Consider adding decorative objects of varying heights, such as candle holders, a small plant, or a decorative box. Play around with different textures and materials to add contrast and visual interest! This is a fun way to add your personal touches.
When styling a coffee table, it's important to keep it balanced. This means that you should distribute your decorative objects evenly across the surface of the table. Keep it balanced by adding large and small pieces on either side!
This is my favorite one: Don't be afraid to mix and match different styles and materials when styling your coffee table. Try mixing metallics with natural materials like wood or stone for a balanced yet visually engaging look! I also love adding in modern vintage pieces to keep it interesting!
